Launching WebStickly: Domains, Automations, and Reaching 1,000 Users

My journey purchasing webstickly.online, setting up n8n workflows, overcoming email spam issues with Brevo, and planning my next steps.

The journey with WebStickly has officially taken a major step forward! On August 15th, I officially purchased the domain through GoDaddy and set everything up.

You can now visit the official site here: www.webstickly.online

My primary goal right now? To reach 1,000 active users on WebStickly. I’ve planned out the roadmap, and I’m putting all the pieces in place to make it happen. Here is a look at what I’ve been working on behind the scenes.

Automating Workflows with n8n

To handle operations and user engagement, I deployed n8n to manage my workflows and send out emails. I started by creating two main workflows.

However, things didn’t go perfectly at first. At the end of the day, I realized that sending automated emails from a normal Gmail account was causing major spam delivery issues.

The Pivot to Brevo

To fix the spam issue, I integrated Brevo to handle email delivery professionally. Before moving to Brevo, I had spent a lot of time setting up tracking inside n8n, and for a brief moment, I felt like all that initial effort was a waste.

But looking at the bigger picture, I quickly realized why keeping all the data inside n8n is so powerful. By using n8n as my central hub, I can capture all leads and manage tracking efficiently, while simply offloading the actual email delivery to Brevo. It’s the perfect robust setup.

What’s Next?

The next big feature on my list is push notifications. I am currently configuring a system to trigger notifications when someone lands on the website or when a user clicks on specific elements.

Stay tuned as I continue building out WebStickly and scaling up to that 1,000 user milestone!
